Professional Services: Building Surveying: Accessibility Auditing.
The Disability Discrimination Act 1995 places a duty on YOU as a service provider to take positive steps to make your services more accessible to disable people.

From 2004 services providers must consider making reasonable adjustments to the physical features of their premises to overcome physical barriers to access.

Anderson Williamson has the expertise to provide the following necessary services –

Accessibility Action Plan
We can provide information and technical advice on how proposed or existing buildings can better accommodate the disabled.

Access Audit
We can carry out a full audit of existing buildings assessing the extent to which it satisfies current legislation and detail solutions to problems and highlight ways to improve accessibility. Costs can also be provided.

Plan and Audit Appraisal
We can ensure optimum accessibility in new build or refurbishment schemes at design stage and follow that through the project to ensure the completed work meets the recommendations of the Audit.
